Progressive Expands Tow Truck Coverage

Progressive recently introduced its expanded On-Hook Towing Liability and Garagekeepers Liability insurance to provide broader coverage to tow businesses.
Expanded On-Hook Towing Liability now covers towed property - including cargo like equipment or raw materials and select personal items in towed vehicles if it is damaged at any time between pick up and delivery. Coverage for transmission and transaxle damage is now included. Limits for this truck insurance coverage are available up to $100,000.
Expanded Garagekeepers Liability now provides coverage for vehicles being serviced, repaired or stored at up to three business locations. This coverage is also available in limits up to $100,000.
The expanded coverages are currently available in 19 states and are expected to roll out countrywide throughout 2009.
