Phillips Industries' new Permalite XB Trailer Dome Lamp boasts a brighter light and more lit area inside the trailer
, Phillips says.
Built with a 175 degree light spread, the new lamp draws 1.8 amps at 12-volt DC, the company says. The lamp is suitable for any trailer application, with its universal mounting holes and one-inch thin design. The lamp's lens and housing are made out of polycarbonate material that can withstand extreme temperatures.
"We wanted to fully develop the interior dome lamp to give fleets the brightest, most economical product for their trailers; one that would hold up and make the entire trailer interior clearly visible," said Bill Phillips, director of sales and marketing for Phillips, Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
The new Permalite XB Trailer Dome Lamp can be installed in new trailers or retrofitted for existing trailers.
