Clore Automotive, Lenexa, Kansas, has introduced the new 3000 Watt Power Inverter, featuring Solar Sonic Compression technology, which uses a proprietary modified sine wave design to provide stable, clean and reliable power
, the company says.
The new model can deliver power from a 12-volt power source to power equipment, electronics and appliances. It can be used inside the cab of an over-the-road truck to run electrical appliances such as a refrigerator or a television set, or for fleet applications in the back of the truck, when the need arises to run power tools.
With its temperature-activated fan control, the unit saves power when in standby mode. Its outfitted with three AC outlets as well as a junction block connection designed for use in hard-wire installations.
The Solar 3000 Watt Inverter is also equipped with a power display that provides information about input voltage and output wattage to enable operators to better manage their power demands. The unit comes with a remote switch for positioning the unit in fixed installations.
