Master Lock introduces its Truck Bed U-Lock, designed to deter theft and prevent items from shifting in a pickup's bed.
The Truck Bed U-Lock fits late model, full-sized Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford and Toyota pickup trucks.
The lock features a locking body that swivels 190 degrees and is made of a hardened steel shackle. The design fits easily into most pickup truck bed stack hole pockets, without drill installation, and cannot be removed from the truck when mounted. It also comes with a key cover to protect it from the elements and a cylinder that can be re-keyed to match other Master Lock products.
"With its swivel flexibility and the ability to customize key sets, the U-Lock is a must for anyone with a pickup, and we've priced it affordably so almost anyone can have one," said Sherri Beachey, product manager at Master Lock.
Master Lock is the world's largest manufacturer of padlocks and related security products, according to the company. It is an operating unit of Fortune Brands, which is headquartered in Deerfield, Ill.
