Mahle Test Systems' new ServiceLogiq diagnostic service tool software using Movimento's RP1210 compatible Puma 2 intelligent Vehicle Communication Interface i(VCI) is now available to the heavy-duty vehicle market.
"This new capability was added into our test suite for our heavy-duty customers," said Chuck Heine, managing director of Mahle Powertrain. "These customers will benefit greatly from the productivity improvements inherent with the complete transparency of the applications across all groups - Product Development, Service Operations, Quality and IT."
ServiceLogiq integrates with Mahle's Visual Authoring Tool for "codeless" applications development, including screen layout. The software can be accessed as a stand-alone or from a central web server, and can easily support scanners, scopes and other vehicle measurement devices. The system also integrates other OE diagnostics and data such as Technical Service Bulletins, wiring diagrams and reports.
Michigan-based Mahle Test Systems, a division of Mahle Powertrain, is a major supplier of software products for manufacturing and dealership applications. Movimento, Plymouth, Mich., develops products to the vehicle industry in the areas of network communications, diagnostics, software download and telematics.
