Karmak offers new Windows-based software products for service and parts operations, including solutions for managing heavy-duty service operations and service scheduling, viewing data in real-time dashboards, creating mobile truck repair or parts orders, and receiving parts orders over the Internet.

The company is demonstrating the products at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week '09 in Orlando this week.

Designed exclusively for the heavy-duty truck industry, ProfitMaster software combines advanced Microsoft technology with best industry practices to help heavy-duty businesses improve efficiency, control costs, and manage margins more closely. The easy-to-use interface and centralized database offer quick access to customer, unit, and part information, eliminating the need to re-key data. ProfitMaster modules are fully integrated with Karmak's business management systems to provide a complete technology solution for heavy-duty companies.

The ProfitMaster Service Management package provides total computer support for service operations. It allows service personnel to quickly create repair orders; track technician performance, deferred repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules; and manage warranty claims, technician certification, and core returns. By tracking historical data and technician performance, users can efficiently and accurately review service history and measure comeback.

ProfitMaster Scheduling allows service managers to easily schedule and dispatch appointments. The flexible drag-and-drop interface lets users customize calendars, group resources by type, shift, department, or branch, create repair orders, and e-mail appointment reminders to customers.

Karmak's mobile software suite works with laptops and Tablet PCs to allow easy tracking of mobile truck repairs, speed the work order process for on-site service writers, and allow outside salespeople to easily create parts orders at customer locations.

ProfitMaster's Real-time Performance Monitor (RPM) modules offer customized dashboards of real-time information. RPM allows managers to see how their department is running at a glance or analyze business trends, for improved customer service and proactive business management.

Seamlessly integrated with Karmak's Parts Inventory system, Internet Parts Sales (IPS) software helps aftermarket distributors increase market share beyond their physical location. IPS allows customers to check pricing and availability, maintain shopping carts, and place parts orders over the Internet at any time.
