ACS Introduces Online Driver Orientation Tool
ACS Expedited Solutions has introduced 'Command Solutions,' a Web-based module for drivers to complete pre-hire paperwork, orientation and testing

ACS Expedited Solutions has introduced 'Command Solutions,' a Web-based module for drivers to complete pre-hire paperwork, orientation and testing.
"ACS works with hundreds of customers on e-learning platforms," said Kelley Walkup, division vice president and general manager for ACS. "It makes sense to offer the service to the transportation industry - especially in this current economic climate - as a means to help carriers create a better bottom line."
According to ACS, the tool can help fleets reduce travel, housing and per diem costs as well as improve learning retention. Command Solutions can also decrease the hiring cycle, increase asset utilization, and provide an excellent source for documentation against litigation.
Using the program, drivers complete initial orientation testing online before coming to the fleet facility for a road test, drug test and introduction.
"On average, Web-based orientation can save carriers more than $1,000 for every driver they hire," said Walkup. "That's a savings of over half a million dollars for carriers who hire 500 drivers a year."
