The 2005 Peterbilt 379 of Curtis Christians is featured on the cover of the 2008 Shell Rotella SuperRigs 25th Anniversary calendar.
Christians, who captured Best in Show honors at the 25th Shell Rotella SuperRigs contest in

2007, is also featured in January. Black stacks and subtle flames highlight the award-winning truck (shown at right).
To mark the occasion, Shell has included a 25th anniversary SuperRigs commemorative DVD with each calendar. Filmed in Joplin, Mo, the video chronicles all three days of the silver anniversary event.
And through November, drivers can pull into any participating oil change facility for a Shell Rotella T oil change (minimum 10 gallons) and receive a free 2008 SuperRigs calendar. The offer is only good through the end of the month or while supplies last.
This year was one of the biggest ever for SuperRigs, with almost 120 trucks entering the premier beauty contest for actively working trucks. Owner-operator truckers from the United States and Canada competed for $25,000 in cash prizes and the enviable spot on the cover of this year's calendar. Christians took home a cash prize of $10,000 for his 2005 Pete and 2005 Great Dane trailer combination.
Twelve other truckers also appear beside their trucks in the Shell Rotella SuperRigs 2008 calendar. A special addition to the back cover of this year's calendar includes the before and after images of Bob and Geri Martin's 1995 Peterbilt 379, which received a $50,000 truck makeover from Shell Rotella.
