The provider has also offered free installation and a free trial to help fleets determine if this solution is viable.
“We know that right now, many carriers are servicing different customers and locations than they have in the past,” said Ben Wiesen, president of CLI, adding that the staff at many carriers are currently in a state of flux, with some of the people covering dispatch might not have the ground-level knowledge about the customer base.
According to the company, the new module improves the efficiency of the supply chain by automating how to manage the different customer location types. LOCI works with FACTS, the company’s freight management software, which gives access to information on pick-up and delivery addresses, and applies business rules regarding how to best service those addresses, including:
More than 115 categories of locations, covering everything from Airport to Zoo
Fully-integrated into the FACTS shipment entry and rating modules
Ability to plan and dispatch drivers and equipment
Carrier Logistics has offered fleets free use of this new program through June 30, 2020.
