Help Inc., provider of the PrePass weigh station bypass and other truck safety and toll payment technologies, has entered into a strategic partnership with the infrastructure investment firm Alinda Capital Partners.

Help Inc. is a non-profit public charity and in late May its board of directors approved Alinda’s acquisition of Help’s contractor CVO Holding company, which will continue to provide contractual services to Help.

This the latest strategic deal by Alinda which includes making investments in transportation assets such as London’s Heathrow Airport and the Virginia International Gateway container terminal in Norfolk, Va. The company plans to support Help’s mission and expand its technology and safety offerings for the trucking industry.

“The Help board viewed Alinda’s partnership proposal as an intriguing next step to providing even greater innovation and continuous improvements to customer service in achieving our mission of highway safety,” said Karen Rasmussen, Help’s chief executive officer. “We are excited about the evident synergies of the Help-Alinda strategic partnership and look forward to a close working relationship that will benefit all our stakeholders.”
