Shur-Co, in Yankton, S.D., bought the Roll-Tite product line in 2014 and renamed it Shur-Tite, the company said. The products continue to be made in and distributed from the original facility in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and it will remain the main location. “Since the acquisition, we have gained a tremendous amount of insight for the ShurTite product and our presence in the market," said Terry Tennant, Shur-Co’s president and CEO. "The next step is to increase our capabilities for product distribution, service and installations. The Sioux Falls location allows us to do that.
“Given its proximity to our corporate headquarters, it also allows us to maximize our engineering support to further refine the offering."
