Daimler Names Freightliner Custom Chassis Head, HR Manager
David Carson is taking over as president and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., following the retirement of Bob Harbin, president and CEO, Daimler Trucks North America has announced.

David Carson is taking over as president and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., following the retirement of Bob Harbin, president and CEO, Daimler Trucks North America has announced.
In a related move, Eileen Frack will replace Carson as general manager of human resources. She had been director of executive management development for DTNA. Frack has also been named a member of DTNA’s operating committee.
Frack began her career with DTNA in 2005 as the director of office of tax affairs and international trade compliance. She has over 20 years of financial and leadership experience working for Nike and Kimberly-Clark. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
Harbin caps a career of more than 30 years in the transportation industry. He’s served as president and CEO of FCCC since 2006. Prior to joining FCCC, Harbin worked for more than 20 years at Chrysler.
Carson joined DTNA in 2001 and has served in a series of senior leadership positions and became a member of the DTNA Operating Committee in 2009.
Frack and Carson assume their new roles on August 1.
