Con-way Multimodal announced the appointment of Gregory L. Orr as president of the freight brokerage division of Menlo Logistics. He was previously the vice president of operations.
In his new role, Orr will be responsible for leading the company’s market growth and strategic development. He will direct financial and operating performance as well as maximize collaborative business opportunities with other Con-way business units.
“We are very pleased to have Greg lead our fastest growing division,” said Gary Kowalski, senior vice president and CEO of Menlo Logistics. “His management skills and industry experience will provide the leadership to continue Con-way Mulitmodal’s growth and development.”
Orr joined Con-way multimodal in 2008 as the vice president and general manager of the company’s Portland, Ore., operation. He was promoted to vice president of operations in 2010. Prior to working for Con-way, Orr was at Greatwide Dedicated Transport as a vice president of operations. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
