Less than Half a Cent Per Mile

“We understand trucking companies operate on razor-thin margins,” said Deryk Powell, Chief Executive Officer of Velociti. “VeloCare Unlimited, at just 0.00048 cents per mile, is intentionally structured at an almost negligible cost. We’ve grown the program to serve over 1.1 million assets over more than a decade, and the resulting efficiency of that scale can be leveraged by the industry at-large. We strongly assert that fleets cannot afford to operate without VeloCare.”

Powerll said the VeloCare Unlimited program allows for fleets to have real-time, 24/7 technology health monitoring, program management, inventory control, and unlimited repairs for covered assets.

Fleets are billed monthly per asset, the all-in-one solution is scalable, allowing users to avoid fluctuating costs and reduce technology management time and expenses.

“The ROI resulting from healthy technology is clear,” Powell added. “As an example, the cost of defending an accident without the benefit of video footage is dramatically higher than the cost when video evidence is available. With VeloCare, customers can rest-assured that their technology is doing its job. VeloCare is Velociti’s contribution to fleets frustrated by nuclear verdicts, aggressive plaintiff’s attorneys, and staged accidents.”

A Broad Product Portfolio

Over the last 12 years, VeloCare adoption has been continually growing. An example of companies benefiting from the effectiveness of VeloCare are numerous:

  • A nationwide logistics company is using VeloCare to support 9,700 cameras, telematics systems, and scanners on its fleet of 6,500 trucks. VeloCare services utilize about 100 locally based technicians. On average, there are 230 vehicles and at least 300 devices being serviced by VeloCare on the company’s assets each week.

  • A major provider of underground public utility locating (811) services to more than 1,400 utilities and municipalities across 48 states is using VeloCare for upfitting and repairs on aftermarket power inverter and auxiliary lighting on 13,000 vehicles, as well as to maintain gateways, dash cameras and panic buttons.

All VeloCare services are provided with guaranteed Service Level Agreements and include technology inventory management, and access to a tech support call center and a dedicated customer success manager.
