Founded in 2017, HDTX is designed to connect a diverse and influential group of fleet managers of Class 7 and 8 vehicles with a select group of product and service suppliers to exchange information, ideas and solutions — at no charge.

Fewer than 50 fleet managers are approved to attend HDTX each year, making for an intimate event where networking goes beyond bringing home a stack of business cards.

Qualified fleet managers receive an all-expenses-paid trip, including round-trip airfare to Phoenix, local airport transfers to and from the Scottsdale Resort, all scheduled meals and receptions.

A relaxed, intimate atmosphere at HDTX makes networking a pleasure.

Experience Innovation, Education, and Collaboration at HDTX

A highlight of HDTX is the presentation of HDT’s Truck Fleet Innovator awards and a panel discussion with the honorees.

These wide-ranging discussions have covered topics such as maintenance, safety, driver recruiting and retention, sustainability, autonomous trucks, leveraging fleet data, and more.

Also in the works for 2025 is a session with the North American Council for Freight Efficiency, with a behind-the-scenes update on this year’s “Run on Less: Messy Middle.”

Evening receptions offer HDTX attendees many opportunities to get to know each other.

More educational sessions and keynote addresses will be announced in the coming months.

Educational sessions in the past have covered topics such as nuclear verdictsfleet electrification, efficiency, government regulations, trucking technology, safety and compliance, economic trends affecting trucking, and more.

Networking, however, is the primary focus of HDTX. Fleet attendees get a customized schedule of short one-on-one meetings with suppliers (it’s been compared to “speed dating”) where they can outline challenges in their operations and see if suppliers may be able to help.

Meals and social functions allow attendees to exchange ideas with other fleet managers and deepen relationships from the one-on-ones.

One-on-one "speed dating" customized appointments with suppliers are an efficient way to see what new solutions might work for your fleet.
