Beginning on Sept. 13 in Indianapolis, FTR’s 17th Annual Transportation Conference will host two days of truck-specific content covering relevant topics from the recent supply chain disruptions impacting the commercial vehicle and trailer industry to the driver shortage.

The first day of the conference will be dedicated to truck equipment, and is tailored to commercial vehicle suppliers, OEMs, trailer builders, fleets, equity analysts, brokers, shippers and any other organizations who rely on market-sizing of Class 4-8 vehicles and trailers.

The second day of content will be devoted to topics such as the capacity crunch, driver shortage, freight demand, spot market rates, and the newly evolved world of contract rates. This session is recommended for any trucking industry participants who rely on a fundamental understanding of the trajectory of the truck market.

“The pandemic has unraveled the commercial freight industry leaving sector businesses to pick up the pieces and try to understand what will return to the way things were prior to 2020 and what will become the “new normal,'” FTR officials said in a press release. “Attendees to the FTR Annual Transportation Conference will benefit from the combined power of reliable forecasts, an entire panel of FTR experts and the most respected thought leaders in all segments of transportation to gain great insight to help them manage their businesses through this unprecedented time.

A rail-related portion of the conference will be held Sept. 15-17.

Registration is currently open.
