Fleet Safety Experience Continues with Award-Winning Safety Program, New HOS Rules

The all-virtual Fleet Safety Experience, a counterpart of Fleet Safety Conference, continues to bring you more medium- and heavy-duty-focused sessions this week, including a session on an award-winning fleet safety program and one on the ins and outs of the latest Hours of Service (HoS) updates.

HDT’s 2020 Safety & Compliance Award winner Adam Lang, chief risk officer with Halvor Lines, will discuss his award-winning safety program and how his background in human resources has helped him handle training and onboarding his new and current drivers during the age of COVID-19 on Wednesday, November 18, from 12:30p.m.-1:30p.m. ET/9:30a.m.-10:30a.m PT.

Fleet Safety Conference regular John Seidl, vice president of risk services at Reliance Partners, will be covering the new updated Hours of Service, which can increase operational efficiency and provide more flexibility for both local and over the road drivers. These existing rules have been modified in some way, all benefiting the motor carrier and/or driver, if used properly. Seidl will shed some light on the proper use of all four of these new updated HoS on Thursday, November 19, from 12:30p.m.-1:30p.m. ET/9:30a.m.-10:30a.m PT.

Register for FSX today so you don’t miss out on these important — and educational — sessions.
