System 1 has introduced a new canister-style oil filter with a removable stainless steel mesh element.
This facilitates prompt inspection of the lubricant for engine-damaging debris, and eliminates filter bisections.
Engineered to fit most engine blocks or remote mounts, the housing is CNC machined from billet aluminum and black anodized. A 45-micron element is standard, but 30- and 75-micron elements are an available option.
An additional benefit of the System 1 oil filter is the ability to clean and re-install the mesh element, eliminating the need to constantly replace spin-on type filters.
