Shell Lubricants has launched Shell Rotella Gas Truck full synthetic engine oil, offering better protection for towing and hauling in gasoline-powered trucks.
The new oil is offered in three viscosity grades: 0W-20, 5W-20 and 5W-30 beginning in January in the U.S. and in May in Canada. All three grades of Shell Rotella Gas Truck motor oil are formulated to provide wear protection in extreme conditions, including heavy hauling, towing, and extreme temperatures.
The synthetic base oil delivers added oxidation stability, improved volatility and low-temperature properties. The oil is approved for use in Ford, GM, Ram and Toyota gas-powered trucks.
