A day after announcing truck drivers at one FedEx Freight facility voted against representation by the Teamsters union, the company said on Thursday another did the same.

The latest involves a vote last week at the company’s Parkersburg, West Virginia facility. Vote totals were not announced. This follows FedEx Freight saying on Wednesday drivers at its Charleston, West Virginia service center voted against the union last week.

“We are proud of our drivers in West Virginia for making informed decisions,” said Pat Reed, executive vice president and chief operating officer for FedEx Freight.

Since winning its first organizing election at FedEx Freight in October, the union has scored victories at just three terminals while losing the vote or cancelling elections at another 11 locations. This includes the union most recently withdrawing an election petition at the Clarksburg, West Virginia location.

According to FedEx the union would only withdraw its election petitions if it knew it would lose the vote in those locations.

The campaign by the Teamsters at one of the nation’s largest less-than-truckload carriers comes as its also waging a campaign at rival LTL giant Con-way Freight, where the union has won three out of eight elections, including its first victory at the company this past September.
