Last year, 67,000 roadside safety checks were conducted by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Of those, several companies failed to meet requirements costing them hundreds of millions of dollars. Despite this year's roadcheck being postponed, fleets will continue to see traffic enforcements and should strive to meet cargo regulations.
