Truckers Recognize Safest S.C. Fleets
The South Carolina Trucking Assn. presented Milliken and Co., a Spartanburg-based firm, with the industry's top safety award.
The South Carolina Trucking Assn. presented Milliken and Co., a Spartanburg-based firm, with the industry's top safety award.
Milliken had the lowest accident frequency rate of the many South Carolina fleets considered for the award. They ran 3.8 million miles in 2002 out of their Clinton transportation facility. Milliken's trucking fleet provides distribution services for locations in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
Thompson Trucking Co. of Charleston, won the Most Improve Award for its accident reduction efforts.
