TranSource Acquires North And South Carolina Dealers
Commercial truck dealer group TranSource has entered into an agreement with Advantage Truck Centers to purchase certain assets from the Rocky Mount and St. Pauls, N.C. locations.
Commercial truck dealer group TranSource has entered into an agreement with Advantage Truck Centers to purchase certain assets from the Rocky Mount and St. Pauls, N.C. locations.
As a result of the deal, Advantage’s Rocky Mount Volvo and Hino operations will be merged into the TranSource existing location in the same city.
The St. Pauls operation will reopen as a TranSource location..
The acquisition will expand TranSource’s footprint into Eastern North Carolina and South Carolina while growing its Volvo and Hino Truck brand representation. Former Advantage employees will join TranSource and there are plans to increase service capacity and other customer services, including full-service truck leasing.
Advantage will continue to operate full-service dealerships in Charlotte, Greensboro and Hickory.
TranSource is a commercial truck dealership group for Volvo, Mack, Hino and Isuzu trucks, operating eight sales and service locations in North Carolina. TranSource offers a variety of products and services, including new and used truck sales, full-service truck leasing and rental, truck parts, and truck service for all brands of commercial trucks.
