“Each year, thousands of trucking professionals attend TMC’s annual meeting to learn the latest in trucking technology and maintenance practices,” said Carl Kirk, vice president of maintenance, information technology and logistics and TMC executive director. “With fleets more conscious than ever about the bottom line, getting the most out of your equipment is of paramount importance.”

There will be discussions of several topics related to fuel efficiency at the event, including a session called “Green Trucks, Green Shops, Green Incentives,” which will discuss how to develop and implement an alternative fuel vehicle program.

A discussion called “Maximizing Asset Utilization: A fleet Service Provider Dialogue” will cover the examination of outsourced vehicle maintenance.

Study group sessions will go over different topics ranging from low-rolling resistance tires to heavy-duty fuel economy testing.

There will also be an exhibit hall featuring 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest industry technology, and a dedicated alternate fuels section to help fleet executives learn about different segments of the alternative fuels market.

Donald Broughton, chief market strategist for Avondale Partners, will be the featured speaker and will give a presentation that dissects the U.S. economy and financial markets for attendees.

First-time attendees can earn discounts for registering before the early registration deadline on January 23. For more information on the TMC’s 2015 Annual Meeting, click here.
