Sunco Carriers has recognized Joey Loggins as the 2006 Owner-Operator of the Year. Loggins will receive $2,500, a commemorative plaque, and have his name added to the Legends Board at the Lakeland, Fla., terminal.

Loggins has been with Sunco, serving in the Atlanta local fleet, since March 7, 1989. He has driven accident-free since joining the company, logging more than 600,000 miles. His wife, Lisa, works as a CSR in the Sunco Atlanta terminal.
In order to be named Owner-Operator of the Year, contractors must be "the best of the best" on the highway, always placing the motoring public's safety first and delivering freight in good condition and on time. The driver must complete the year with no accidents, claims or citations, and have no late logs or paperwork and no log violations.
