Toledo, Ill.-based transportation equipment dealer Ervin has been added to Stoughton Trailers’ network of North American dealers, the company announced.
Ervin is a global supplier of new and used transportation equipment, offering many services beyond sales to serve as a one-stop resource for Stoughton customers. The Ervin sales territory for Stoughton Trailers will be focused on the South and a few other strategic areas.
“Family-owned Stoughton Trailers matches our same core values, as we are family owned and operated as well,” said Cole Ervin, president of Ervin. “This partnership could not have come at a better time as Stoughton Trailers has an aggressive business plan that aligns with ours.”
Stoughton Trailers has an extensive network of dealerships across the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Stoughton manufactures, designs, and markets a range of semitruck trailers used in over-the-road trucking, as well as agricultural trailers and other specialty transportation equipment.
“Ervin brings a great deal of experience and resources to our dealership team,” said Brian Kahl, Stoughton Trailers vice president of sales and marketing. “We especially like that Ervin is in a position to deliver a complete suite of services such as trailer leasing, repairs, parts and financing.”
