According to the Smith press release, Puryear, who arrived at Smith in 2002, was a standout last year with his exceptional professionalism, performance and safety record.
“As far as we’re concerned, Greg represents the best of the best within our fleet,” says Travis Smith, vice president of operations.
Puryear receives $1,500 in cash, a commemorative leather jacket, a variety of gift certificates, tickets to professional sporting events and his choice of a company 2005 Freightliner or Peterbilt enhanced with chrome and his name on the side.
