The 34th Annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition will be held June 9-11, 2016 at the Joplin Convention center in Joplin, Mo., the company announced.
The Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition is a truck beauty contest for actively working trucks. Each year, owner-operator truckers from the U.S. and Canada compete for cash and prizes.
Trucks are judged by industry professionals who score them based on exterior appearance, design, detail, finish, originality and workmanship. Eighteen working trucks receive awards for categories like Best of Show, Tractor, Tractor/Trailer Combination and Classic categories. Additionally, 12 drivers will be selected to have their trucks featured in the Shell Rotella SuperRigs Calendar.
The theme and events of next year’s SuperRigs will be announced in the coming months.
