Schneider National Inc. has announced the winners of its 2005 Schneider Presidential and Orange Heart Awards. Each year, Schneider recognizes those drivers who have demonstrated outstanding service in several categories,
including customer service and safety, as well as drivers who have done something special or out of the ordinary for another Schneider employee or their immediate family. In all, the awards honor 33 drivers.
"Schneider drivers represent the face of our company, and these award winners have clearly stepped outside their defined roles to ensure we deliver on our service promise and maintain the respect and trust of our customers – critical for future growth," said Wayne Lubner, vice president of driver and contractor relations at Schneider National.
To win the awards, drivers are nominated by a Schneider associate. Twenty-five drivers were selected to receive the Schneider Presidential Award for Customer Service in 2005.
