Jon Morrison, previously the longtime president of Wabco Americas, has been tapped by Phillips Connect as strategic executive.

Morrison is currently CEO of J&M Strategic Insights. Phillips Connect will draw on his extensive experience in electronic vehicle control, electrification, vehicle telematics and advanced technologies as Phillips Connect works to grow market share in smart trailer solutions.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Jon’s caliber join our team at Phillips Connect,” said Rob Phillips, founder and CEO, in a news release. “We’ve been bringing the best minds in the industry to our organization to ensure we’re developing the best, most comprehensive solutions in smart trailer technology.”
Morrison was president of Wabco from 2006 through its acquisition by ZF in 2020. He also has held board positions with the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, Intelligent Transportation Society of America and the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute. He is currently a member of the Noregon Systems Advisory Board.
