Peterbilt Motors Company hosted dozens of medium-duty fleet owners and managers at the PACCAR manufacturing facility in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, for a Commitment to Class customer event, giving tours of the plant, providing educational seminars, and allowing fleet managers to test drive the company’s Class 6-7 lineup in various configurations.
“Peterbilt’s Commitment to Class customer events are an excellent way for our company, our customers, and our dealers to spend focused time exploring the many advantages of Peterbilt’s products, including the wide range of available configurations,” said Robert Woodall, Peterbilt assistant general manager of Sales and Marketing. “This year we’re excited to showcase our latest product line enhancements, including the new compressed natural-gas-powered Models 337 and 348.”

Among the vehicles on display, Woodall added, were the cabover Model 220 in pickup and delivery and beverage distribution applications; the Model 330 in a security transport spec; the Model 337 in CDL and non-CDL configurations; and vocationally spec’d Model 348s.
“Peterbilt’s Commitment to Class event was a great opportunity to discuss our business and equipment needs with representatives from both the dealership and Peterbilt,” said Rodney Mays, owner of Matrix Demolition, who attended the event. “Additionally, touring the manufacturing facility and test driving numerous models in various configurations really emphasized the quality, durability and versatility of Peterbilt’s medium-duty lineup.”
The PACCAR facility in Ste-Thérèse – which opened in 1999 and has produced more than 100,000 vehicles – manufactures Peterbilt’s Class 5-7 conventional models. Peterbilt’s Class 6-7 cabover Model 220 is manufactured at the PACCAR plant in Mexicali, Mexico.
