Peterbilt has hired Tim Olson as its new public relations manager.
Olson comes to Peterbilt from the automotive industry, where he spent time as the product communication manager for Mazda, responsible for launching its latest line of vehicles.
Olson has has nearly two decades of experience in both the public relations sector, for companies like Yamaha and Suzuki, and on the editorial side as managing editor for Motocross Action Magazine and editor of Motocross.com.
In his new position, Olson is responsible for managing day-to-day public relations activities at Peterbilt, reporting directly to Melissa Epping, director of marketing communications, out of Peterbilt’s corporate headquarters in Denton, Texas.

The companies also said they plan to coordinate deployment planning across priority freight corridors and define routes and operational design domains for U.S. commercial service while laying the groundwork for expansion into key European markets.
