Peterbilt has been recognized as a 2025 Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT), marking the eighth consecutive year the company has earned the distinction. Peterbilt was also included in WIT’s Elite 30, a subset of companies receiving the highest number of votes.
Recognition for Workforce Support
The Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation program, launched in 2018, highlights organizations that support the employment, development, and advancement of women in the trucking and transportation industries.
“This recognition reaffirms we’re moving in the right direction,” said Tina Albert, Peterbilt assistant general manager, operations. “We’re committed to empowering employees who contribute to our success.”
Jake Montero, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president, added that the company values the strength of a diverse workforce. “This acknowledgment underscores our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture where all employees can thrive,” he said.
Ongoing Inclusion Initiatives
Peterbilt continues to support employee engagement and inclusion through efforts such as the Peterbilt Diversity Council, the Peterbilt Women’s Initiative Network (PBWIN), and other employee resource groups. The company said these initiatives aim to strengthen workplace culture and support long-term employee development.
