The Minnesota Trucking Association (MTA) has named Stephen Laubach, a professional truck driver for FedEx Freight East in Roseville, as the 2006 Minnesota Truck Driver of the Year.
Laubach has been a professional truck driver for 40 years, and has been with FedEx Freight for the last four years. He currently drives line haul in twin trailers and runs from the Twin Cities to Des Moines, Iowa every night.
During his 40-year career he has driven more than 2.5 million accident free miles. Laubach lives in Oakdale, Minn.
