McMahon Truck Group, Charlotte, N.C., has bought Columbus Truck and Equipment Company and Marietta Mack, the largest Mack and Volvo truck dealer in Ohio. The two-location dealership group also represents Hino medium duty trucks and Jerr-Dan towing equipment lines.

"The dealerships and markets share many similarities to our existing businesses, and the new locations diversify our geography and provide access to new products that complement our current offerings," adds brother a nd co-owner Mike McMahon.
The previous owner and president, Ray Mason III, will consult with the McMahons during the transition.
McMahon Truck Group is a family-owned group of dealerships and transportation related businesses with eight locations in five states. Group product brands include Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Hino Trucks, Jerr-Dan Equipment, and XL Specialized Trailers.
