Marten Transport, Mondovi, Wis., has announced the addition of intermodal services to its ever-growing corporate transportation family.
Marten’s intermodal division will allow the company to provide expanded options and more effective transportation solutions for customers. The addition of logistics and intermodal services will support and enhance the company’s existing operations by providing greater flexibility and efficiency.
To lead this latest venture, Marten has chosen Matt MacPherson as its new Director of Intermodal and Logistic Services. MacPherson, who has more then 22 years of experience in the transportation industry, will be responsible for generating Marten’s truck-to-rail transport opportunities, along with growing the company’s logistics and brokerage operations.
Prior to joining Marten Transport Ltd., MacPherson was the senior manager of Supply Chain Logistics at McCain Foods USA.
