Interstate Distributor Co. announced it will celebrate the opening of its new terminal near Lebanon, Tenn., with an open house April 11-15.

There will be guided tours and refreshments from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during that week.
The newly built facility provides excellent driver facilities and houses 20,000 square feet of full-service truck and trailer maintenance, fueling, scales, shorepower for tractors and a wash bay. The terminal currently houses a full operations department and will have a driver recruiting staff by the end of the second quarter.
Driver orientation will be held at the facility when it is fully staffed. The complex was built to reinforce Interstate’s in the eastern U.S. and to better serve its customers and drivers domiciled in that area. The terminal is strategically located off of I-40, Exit 232.
Interstate is headquartered in Tacoma, Wash., and currently has more than 3,500 employees and owner-operators.
