International Truck has begun offering a hardware and service credit to fleet buyers who add an approved telematics system to their truck, the company has announced.
The company will credit fleets toward the installation of telematics hardware, two years of data service, and include its OnCommand Connection vehicle diagnostics system through the program. Fleets must use an approved, integrated telematics provider for the full credit, according to the company. The company will offer a partial credit toward hardware and data service with non-approved vendors.
The credit bundle goes into effect on new orders placed since July 1 in the U.S. and Canada, and will be available to customers buying directly through International Truck dealers.
