Heavy Duty Trucking welcomes a new senior editor, Wayne Parham, who brings more than 30 years of media experience to the team and a history of covering a variety of industries and professions.
Parham is working to write trucking news and features, manage e-newsletters and social media, coordinate magazine production, and develop content for events and multimedia such as podcasts and videos.
Most recently, he was senior editor at Police Magazine and PoliceMag.com, another Bobit B2B brand. He has worked as publisher of two newspapers and was part of the team at Georgia Trend magazine, a business magazine based in Atlanta, for nine years.
Parham holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in print communications from the University of West Georgia.
“We’re excited to have someone with Wayne’s news and publishing experience join the team,” said HDT Editor and Associate Publisher Deborah Lockridge. “He brings with him a new perspective and an apparently boundless supply of ideas and enthusiasm.”
Parham joins an award-winning editorial team that features the trucking industry’s most experienced staff and contributing editors. He replaces Vesna Brajkovic, who left the company to pursue another communications opportunity.
