Westman Freightliner operates four full-service dealerships in Mankato, Faribault, Fairmont and Marshall, Minnesota, offering Freightliner, Fuso and Autocar-branded trucks. With this acquisition Harrison Truck Centers – owned and operated by President and CEO Brian Harrison, COO Chad Harrison and CFO Dustin Petersen – has increased the total number of its full-service dealerships to seven in Iowa and Minnesota. As part of the acquisition, Harrison Truck Centers has also acquired Westman parts locations, operating as ProMaxx Truck Parts, located in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

“We are guided by our family-owned values and saw those same values in the impressive enterprise Butch Westman built, which made Westman Freightliner a good fit for the expansion of our Midwest operations,” said Brian Harrison. “This acquisition will greatly increase the scale of our business, which will allow us to better serve our customers while building upon the strengths of our employees.”

The acquisition of Westman Freightliner adds Fuso and Autocar brands to the existing Harrison Truck Centers product portfolio and will allow Harrison Truck Centers to offer its customers comprehensive fleet management services through its NationaLease options. Harrison Truck Centers now has a full-service presence in 55 Iowa and 21 Minnesota counties. In addition, with the acquisition of the ProMaxx Truck Parts locations, which are members of the HDA TruckPride network, Harrison Truck Centers’ customers will benefit from even more competitive parts pricing.

Harrison Truck Centers plans to retain all Westman Freightliner employees, bringing the total number of Harrison Truck Centers employees to more than 400.

As part of the acquisition, Harrison Truck Centers has promoted Mike Wester to general manager of operations for Iowa and Minnesota; he will be responsible for overseeing the integration and transition of all Westman Freightliner operations. Tyler Westman will serve as regional general manager of the full-service dealerships in Minnesota and all ProMaxx Truck Parts locations.
