The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall of 1998-2000 Freightliner Argosy cabover models.
. Certain models with 12-volt power outlets will need to be checked for missing floorboard plugs which could allow road salts and moisture into the truck, possibly causing electrical fires.
Freightliner has stated that owner notification will begin immediately. Owners who do not receive the free repair within a reasonable amount of time should call Freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
