Flexfab Europe Ltd. has opened a new manufacturing plant in Nottingham, England. The 3,000 square foot facility produces high-performance hoses, ducts, bellows and other special shapes for the transfer of hot fluids and pressurized air in heavy truck, automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.
A key objective in establishing the new facility was to make design engineering and technical service more readily available to European customers, said managing director Hugh Boyce.
"With the continuing expansion of global markets and a rising number of OEMs using Flexfab components as standard equipment, we felt the time was right for a manufacturing site in the U.K. that could provide a full range of design, testing and production services," he said.
Flexfab Europe is part of the Hastings, MI, based Flexfab Horizons International family of companies that design and manufacture engineered components and systems for heavy trucks, automotive, aerospace and other industries.
