Fikes Recognizes Top Contractors for 2006

Fikes Truck Line, Hope, Ark., has named Derrell Hearnsberger as Contractor of the Year for 2006. The award was presented at Fikes Annual Fall Festival.
Hearnsberger was selected among a group of four finalists as part of Fikes’ year-long contractor recognition program. The three other finalists were also on hand to receive special recognition. They included Randall Sanders of Russellville, Ark.; Edgar Tarrance of Killeen, Texas; and Charles Fowler of Hope, Ark. Finalists were selected by a Fikes committee that considered length of service, revenue levels, customer service and business standards as part of their selection process. They each received decals and jackets with the Fikes insignia and recognition of being a Contractor of the Quarter.
Hearnsberger received a Tag Heuer watch with the Fikes’ logo. Leased to Fikes since 1987, Hearnsberger lives in Arkadelphia, Ark., with his wife Debbie.
