A. Duie Pyle Inc. has received the "Outstanding Service" Award from DuPont Logistics.
Pyle was DuPont's only core carrier to receive their LTL Motor Carrier Outstanding Service Award.
The award was based on Pyle's performance in the following areas during 2003: Zero distribution incidents or customer complaints; billing and invoicing accuracy; claims ratio; and transit time service performance.
Peter Latta, president of A. Duie Pyle accepted the award during
DuPont's Annual Package Carrier Safety and Security Meeting in Wilmington, Delaware, in August.
Based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, A. Duie Pyle Inc. provides LTL services throughout the Northeast with 12 LTL service centers located throughout the area. The network is engineered for break-bulk-free LTL service, which accelerates transit times and minimizes freight claims.
All of Pyle's 580 trucks have on-board computers communicating via satellite with their service center network, allowing real-time in-transit visibility on every shipment.
