Fort Dodge, Iowa-based Decker Truck Line Inc. has announced that Gary Moneypenny was selected as the July 2006 Driver of the Month for the Flatbed division. Moneypenny is a company driver who has been with Decker since March of 2002.

Selected as Driver of the Month for the Reefer/Van division was Jerry Staton, who has been with Decker since August of 1985. He is a member of Decker’s Million Mile Team, accumulating more than two million miles without a preventable accident.
Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company; including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll and billing, and customer service. All drivers and owner-operators who are selected as a Driver of the Month will be eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the Year.
