Minnesota-based Dart Transit Co. has announces its July 2006 Contractors of the Month: Juan Garcia of the Dallas Operating Center and Jeff Dahlgren of the Eagan Operating Center.
Contractors of the Month are recognized for their on-time performance, dependability, and safety record.
Garcia, who is from San Antonio, Texas, has been in the trucking industry since 1995, and contracted with Dart in 2003. He owns and operates a 1999 Freightliner in Dart’s “Super South” Region.
Dahlgren, from Duluth, Minn., has contracted with Dart for 10 years. Dahlgren owns and operates a 2003 Mack in one of Dart’s dedicated options. Dahlgren has also received several Dart Safety Awards including Dart’s Hall of Fame and Safety Ring.
Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.” Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
Dart is the nation’s 14th-largest truckload dry-van carrier, and offers 48-state, dedicated and regional service with 2,500 independent owner-operators.
