The project is funded by grant from Colorado and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, KOAA reported.
The state already has hundreds of fleet trucks running on CNG. The county hopes to have eight to 10 CNG trucks by the end of 2015, its fleet director said. These trucks will be partially funded with grant money.
