CFI Honors March Drivers of the Month

CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has announced its driver award recipients for March 2007:


• Company Driver of the Month: James McAfee started driving for CFI in 2004 and has driven more than 380,000 miles. He lives in Joplin.

• Company Team of the Month: Steven and Mohrea Anderson began driving for CFI in 1994 and 1999, respectively. They live in Malakoff, Texas. Together they have driven over 1.9 million miles.

• Contractor Driver of the Month: Danny Thurman began his career with CFI in 1991. He resides in Noel, Mo., and has driven more than 1.8 million miles.

• Contractor Team of the Month: James and Frances Doty began their careers at CFI in 1998 and 2002, respectively. They reside in Joplin, and together have driven over 1.3 million miles.

As the March 2007 winners, each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2007 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards.
CFI, founded in 1951, operates more than 2,300 tractors and over 7,100 trailers and transports a variety of goods throughout the contiguous United States and Canada. CFI's website can be found www.cfi-us.com. CFI's site is also available in Spanish at www.cfi-mx.com.
