CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has announced its monthly driver award recipients for March 2006:


• Company Driver of the Month: Refugio Cortez Jr. started driving for CFI in 1997. He lives in Victoria, Texas.
• Company Team of the Month: Grant and Joyce Blevins live in Houston, Texas. Grant joined CFI in 2002, and Joyce joined CFI in 2003.
• Contractor Driver of the Month: Lawrence Ogle II began his career with CFI in 2000. He resides in Floresville, Texas.
• Contractor Team of the Month: Michael Nieschalk and Kelly Morris live in Duenweg, Mo. Michael joined CFI in 2000, and Kelly joined CFI in 2001.

As the March 2006 winners, each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2006 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards.
CFI, founded in 1951, operates 2,300 tractors and more than 7,400 trailers and transports a variety of goods throughout the contiguous United States and Canada.
