CFI Honors Its Top Drivers for January

CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has named its driver award recipients for January 2006:
• Company Driver of the Month: Diana Prieto started driving for CFI in 2000
and has driven more than 860,000 miles. She lives in Laredo, Texas.
• Company Team of the Month: Carl & Becky Holt began driving for CFI in 1996 and 1998, respectively. Together they have driven more than 1.9 million miles. They live in San Antonio, Texas.
• Contractor Driver of the Month: Jon Smith began his career with CFI in 1984 and has driven over two million miles. He resides in Joplin, Mo.
• Contractor Team of the Month: Robert & Cecilia Wallraven began their careers at CFI in 1998. They reside in Clarksville, Tenn. Together they have driven more than 860,000 miles.
As the January 2006 winners, each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2006 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards.
CFI, founded in 1951, operates 2,500 tractors and more than 7,000 trailers and transports a variety of goods throughout the contiguous United States and Canada. CFI's web site can be found at www.cfi-us.com.
